WHITE FRANGIPANI (Plumeria pudica)
Plumeria pudica (Apocynaceae), commonly known as bridal bouquet, is a flowering ornamental plant related to the common frangipani, P. Rubra. A native to Columbia, Panama and Venezuela, P. Pudica has striking white flowers and a long blooming period which have made it a popular landscape plant in south Florida and the Caribbean (Suarez et al., 2017).
Morphological Character
Habitus: Shrubs or small tree; up to 3 m. Trunk: small trunk (compared to the figure of the tree) extends without the shape of a tuber; The main stem hardens. Cambodia leaves are green; oval shaped; tapered leaf base; blunt leaf tip; Leaf length 20-40 cm; width between 6-12.5 cm. Cambodian flowers have a distinctive fragrance; Flower shaped trumpet; consists of five crowns; colored white.
